2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Price

Compared to the previous model, the 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will be only slightly enhanced. The American automaker has recently announced that both the 2016 Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat versions are going to be priced higher than the current models. Apart from a few minor tweaks, expect the 2017 Challenger SRT Hellcat to inherit all of the features offered by its predecessor, including the new price tag. Anyway, this classic American muscle car will continue to impress with its staggering 707 horsepower under the hood.

2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Specs

Of course, the most notable feature offered by the 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will be its supercharged Hemi V8. This amazing powerplant cranks out 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, matched either to a six-speed manual or a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. As you probably already know, these staggering figures make the Challenger Hellcat the most powerful factory-built muscle car ever. With its top speed exceeding even the Dodge Viper’s, it is able to reach 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. In order to withstand so much power coming out of it, the engine uses high-strength, forged-alloy pistons as well as heat-treated cylinder heads.

2017 Challenger SRT Hellcat Design

Just like the rest of the Challenger lineup, the 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will feature the classic styling inspired by the 1971 model. Apart from a few subtle tweaks on the front end, expect the upcoming model to carry over unchanged as far as the sheet metal is concerned. Compared to the regular models, the Hellcat comes with several distinguishing features. Instead of the familiar split grille, expect to see a cleaner piece on its front fascia, while the hood features dual air extractors and an exclusive Air Catcher inlet port. Thanks to the redesigned front bumper that incorporates quad projector lamps, the Hellcat boasts a menacing appearance. At the back, the only difference comes with a taller spoiler fitted with an „SRT“ logo on its right side.

Most of the interior styling cues are shared with the standard Challenger, apart from several SRT-designed features. Those include an SRT-branded steering wheel with flat bottom as well as special gauges and digital graphics. Other exclusive features come with „Dark Engine Turn“ aluminum trims as well as leather-wrapped surfaces with special stitching.
